(I think I've got it right but feel free to mail me with corrections!)
The weather was very
unkind to us really, beautiful roads but all wet! We met up in
Matlock Bath at around 11:00 am, stood around, nattered, stood
around some more. We were also joined by six of the Hornet lads!
Vokesy wins the prize for furthest travelled, coming all the way
from South Wales. Lisa wins the prize for talking with her mouth
full! Oooeeer! The nattering was followed by a quick zip up to
the "Cat and Fiddle", where the rain was heavier and
the wind was stronger, but what the hell, Fazer owners can take
it! (No Hornets up there!)
Fazermans View - A6 Uuuuurgh! All speed limits. A54 Aaaaaah!
Buxton to Congleton, highly recommended, would've been nice in
the dry but did manage to get airborne at one point even in the
wet, Eeeeek!
But more than anything else, I must say that I was gobsmacked by the turnout (so was DaveB) It was great to meet so many of you for the first time. First of many hopefully.
The scene at Matlock Bath (Well most of it) - thanks Tony and Graham. Click the pic for big ones.
