You lucky, lucky bastard !
Just a few of the kinder words posted when I beat the stampeding hordes and got myself invited to join the 'Bike' team for a week-long comparison test of the new Yamaha FZ1S Fazer, the also-new Honda CBF1000 and Yamaha's original FZS1000 Fazer.

On Wednesday 28th September I attended a day at Powerslide Training (www.powerslidetraining.co.uk) and I am glad to report that it was a thoroughly brilliant day.
It all started at the Christmas before when I mentioned to my mate, Guy, that I fancied booking a day with them. He expressed an interest so we booked for a day in May at [read more]
£99 from Carnells, waited 29 days for it to arrive, quite pleased with the colour match, the sound is the dogs danglies, love the popping when slowing down - was a bit wierd to fit though, used blue hylomar, and the bugger leaked in both places, all stripped down, refitted with more blue hylomar, and left to cure overnight, still [read more]
The fit was ok, bolted in two places also they give you an advel bush which i did not use, couldn't get the gun behind the right hand footrest hanger, but it is still quite sterdy. Paint just about covers, slightly patchy, it's quite thick in material, made of plastic moulding. I think it's a little short covering the tire, [read more]
Despite being made by Pyramid Plastics the hugger is made from glass fibre. I bought it from Skellerns at Cannock, and it set me back £59.95 last summer. It took all of 20 minutes to fit, being held on by 4 bolts - the 2 chain guard fixings and two on the brake hose guide. It all lined up with [read more]
Evo II Hugger
I ordered this hugger several weeks ago after trawling the net to find the best one.
Price wasn’t a factor as I was using the missus’ credit card.
Of all the huggers reviewed on this site the ART hadn’t featured so it was a bit of a risk ordering the thing just on the face on one picture in [read more]
Price - £15 Ease of fitting - Fits with double sided tape under the existing mudguard and then 4 self tapping screws. Looks - tacky carbon effect look, probably better in black or body colour. Awful stainless screws need to be painted black or colour matched. Performance - Keep the crap off those rusty pipes not much else. Value - [read more]

After NWS offered a 10% club discount, I decided to go ahead and order a black hugger for my ’03 600 Fazer.
The hugger arrived the following day, and was suitably packed

Contained in the package was an NWS catalogue, the hugger (obviously), all necessary fixings, instructions and [read more]
They've gone up in price since I bought mine. Now cost £64.99 from MPS. I bought it online and it was delivered promptly, took about 30 mins to fit and seems to work okay. You still get a bit of crud past it but very little compared to without it! It's a plastic, carbon lookalike jobby and when clean, it [read more]
I bought this hugger from Charles Hurst Motorcycles N,Ireland phone no (028)90381721 fax no (028)90383588,its a Yamaha original hugger made by TCP I think. The cost of the hugger was £118.00 very expensive i thought as I could have shopped around and bought one half this price, but most of the huggers I looked at didn't have the sporty chain [read more]
