He bought the Fazer as a damaged repairable with no fairing and likes it that way. It's had a set of wide renthals fitted and is soon to get a bellypan. Si also owns a 1983 Honda VF750FD.
Kevin McCarthy. '99 black Fazer 600.Kevin's a 41 yr old maintenance technician for Gillette UK Ltd. Married with a pair of teenagers (Aaaaaargh!) Kev's only been riding for a year and a half after passing a 5 day direct access course which he wishes he'd done years ago!

Dave Marchant. '99 silver Fazer 600.Dave is a buyer for an electronics company. He used to be a very keen cyclist until he discovered the internal combustion engined version. The Fazer's got a scottoiler, tank protector and digi watch on the handlebars. Dave has a house full of pets, including snakes!
Mark Maslin. Y2K red,black,silver.Mark is a paramedic with the London Ambulance service. This is his second Fazer, obviously a fella with taste.

an unfortunate altercation with a Subaru Imprezza! John would like to stress

Derek is a 41 yr old Civil Servant. Derek is an ex-skydiver who now enjoys
mountain biking. He's also run the London Marathon twice. Derek's wife and

About Me: I'm 36, married with 3 kids and work as a Quantity Surveyor (well someone has to). I've been into fast cars for ages and have a Porsche Boxster at present, having previously had 2 Lotus Elise's and a Caterham 7 amongst other quick stuff. I am pretty new to biking, having only taken up riding this summer mainly to avoid the daily queues on the M25. My 2000MY Fazer 600 S is my first bike and I use it on average 4 times a week to commute to work and occasionally at the weekends, so at present I'm doing about 1000 miles per month. The bike came with Datatag and I have fitted an Aero screen. I think that as a novice/improving rider the Fazer offers just about the perfect blend of performance, handling and comfort. My only real complaint was the lighting, but having visited the web-site now have that sorted with some Vision Plus Bulbs. I've also added a K&N filter, a blueflame carbon end can, a hugger and an extender fender to the bike.

About Me: I've been riding now for eight or so years but have progressed slowly through scooters and poncey bikes like a 535 and then onto a Diversion which had a hard life as a work horse. About Me: I am a lawyer working in central london and use my fazer year round though less so in winter. A bit of a town biker need more a road practice. did south of france on it last september down to Marseilles via the massif centrale, stunning trip, 3 days to get there 2 to come back. 2 up and full luggage. fitted a taller screen and it cruised at 100 easilt and comfortably. Fazer never missed a beat. i visit all the central london courts so abig fan of free bike bays.riding in a city suit on those lovely summer days gets some stares but generally its leathers and a quick change in the loos. Just about to do the headlamp change which is how i came to the site. having looked at the message board i now fancy a race can, hugger and pan. i fitted a givi rack as i need to carry stuff and the hard luggage is excellent. also a scotoiler seems to reduce need to adjust chain and engine bars have saved a lot of damage hhen it fell off the stand.excellent site, well done.
